Guest guest
I'm not judging you, I'm judging your character and morals. You can't have very high standards or you would have had better sense that to send this. You would have had more respect for the rest of the group who may not care for your views on what you call beautiful bodies that appear to be more sexually appealing than appealing for people to become veggies. Guest guest
Despite what you may think of me. I have strong values with regards to s*x and high moral's. I have never had s*x, unlike the people who are saying " shame on you " to me. I assume that since they have children, they had s*x. As I said, you should not be too quick to judge people. Guest guest
I'm sorry but I do have high standards. As I said, I'm not the one who has had s*x. And I am a proud virgin and vegetarian of over a 1/4 of a century. -- In , rwhitt1212@a... wrote: > I'm not judging you, I'm judging your character and morals. Guest guest
Well said. And I don't judge either...I could care less about what the rest of the world is doing. I just don't want to be subjected to trash when all I want is to discuss the beautiful thing that is vegetarianism. Guest guest
Perhaps you should have given a bit more information with the link, that way people would have been able to make an informed choice about following it. You shouldn't be surprised that there has been a negative reaction to the post when people did not know where your link was taking them before they got there. However, that said, I do think there is an important lesson in this for a number of people here. Don't open links unless you are pretty sure you know where they are going to take you. Spam can get through even the best regulated list and sometimes the address can look legitimate. I didn't even open the link originally because of the number of " this is spam " warning signs (forgive me for this Dublin, but your message looked absolutely and totally like spam) I saw in it. <dublin_pussy Friday, January 10, 2003 9:39 PM CHECK OUT THIS VEGGIE > CHECK OUT THIS VEGGIE > > http://www.peta.com/feat/pinup/7.html 1) The poster's name - Dublin_Pussy sounds eminently as though it might be a sexual innuendo 2) There is no information about where the link leads 3) What information is given is done in CAPITALS (which is on-line shouting and does not lend respectability to the post) 4) It isn't signed 5) The word " pinup " in the link does not lead to the idea that it will open a recipe. It is possible to stay fairly safe on line and not see things one doesn't want to see if one takes precautions. When using search engines keep the filter on, for example, and be aware of " red flags " like the ones I mentioned above. Oh, and you know what, Dublin? Just because you are a virgin does not mean that you have stronger values than someone like me who is a partnered gay mother of 1.
