Guest guest
Exactly, I've come across so many vegetarians, that are too busy to do anything!!!! So you just don't care what is happining in the world? You just want to block it out? You have no heart about what is going on in the world? Look at this link and the places that are starving: http://www.wfp.org/index.asp?section=3 I AM DOING SOMETHING. I am trying to make you busy vegetarians aware of these issues in other countries. If one or two people have been impacted, then I have done a good deed for today. If I do that everyday, I have gotten my message across to 365 or 700 people a year!!! That's a lot of work for one person. Megan ---- Original Message ----- Whats wrong, you can only think about food all the time, and not the actual reasons why you become vegetarian. Are we not "allowed" to talk about issues that vegetarians come across. Are we "not allowed" to talk about hunger, are we not allowed to talk about animals and humans dying. contact owner: -owner Mail list: Delivered-mailing list List-Un: - no flaming arguing or denigration of others allowedcontact owner with complaints regarding posting/list or anything else. Guest guest
I won't justify that with an answer except there is a time and a place for everything. This may be the time, but this isn't the place. On serious note though, if you're so passionate about these things have you ever thought of starting your own list geared toward that & maybe extending an invitation to people from this list who might be interested to join? A possible solution that might work for all sides. :-) Another list where this is commonplace is vegan chat on . Guest guest
So... I can appease my concience and " save my mortal soul " *giggle* just by finding an unmoderated group on the internet and filling up people's mailboxes, further adding the their clutter and removing from them time in which they may have done something...?! Wow. -dawn , Irish Veggie <an_irish_vegetarian> wrote: > > Exactly, I've come across so many vegetarians, that are too busy to do anything!!!! > So you just don't care what is happining in the world?
