Hi Doreen,

Thanks for the cooking hint with soy milk and lemons. This will come in very handy!

Two years ago I took the ALCAT blood test and found what my food allergies and intolerances where. I forgo dairy and the foods I was eating that I shouldn't. I went through what you described in the post.

Re: Just want to know the rules of the game here

Tip: When baking clabber the same amount of soy drink that you might use buttermilk or milk with the juice of a lemon. You'll see the soy drink curdle immediately when you put the lemon juice into it. The clabbered soy milk holds the baked goods together instead of the buttermilk *and* the eggs. Doreen

My husband and daughter are both " lactose intolerant " from birth.

That is a tremendous advantage. The didn't go through decades of

destroying their bodies with homogenized, pasteurized cow's milk and

it's fatty cholesterol-laden products.

I can't believe that people who are " lactose intolerant " take lactase

supplements so that they can tolerate the milk. I can't believe that

companies produce those supplements. They could be making the same

money producing something good for the body - like wheatgrass tabs.

HELLLOOOO... THIS IS YOUR BODY TALKING TO YOU. KNOCK KNOCK. CAN YOU

HEAR ME?....YOU HOO...ANYBODY HOME?

Nope, out to lunch.

Hey Doreen,

With people over-dosing on television they have

learned (apparently on good authority - manufacturers)

that taking lactase supplements is the answer to their

prayers! They CAN have your dairy even if they are

intolerant! The Gods are good to us! That is

disgusting. It has to be all about money. I fear the

masses would rather have dairy than wheatgrass (hmm,

unless maybe they could make the wheatgrass in

chocolate flavor!)

You are like having my very own health advisor!

Thanks for the posts.

Thanks, Kris.

While I'm on a roll: I'll tell you another secret to great health.

Throwing out the TV. We did 20 years ago and never missed it.

My kids grew up without a TV. They are interested in many stimulating

activities that require active participation and physical activity,

as well as any number of skills. My daughter, 18, a life-long

vegetarian, is 5'4 and weighs less than 100 pounds. She's never been

on a diet in her life. My son, 17, who does capoeira, is 5'9 and

weighs 130 lbs. He got a perfect physical profile at the draft office

when he was examined last month. They've never had so much as a

cavity. I credit all that in large part to the fact that I didn't put

temptation in their way when they were small.

Sometimes I go to someone's house and their TV is on. I sit with my

back to it and give them the excuse that I can't hear what they're

saying so they turn the volume down. When you don't watch TV for

awhile it looks unbearably staged, phoney and idiotic.

Hi Doreen,

I am casein intolerant and not lactose intolerant, though I thought I was until a couple of years ago.

In another post you mentioned you drink you breakfast and you drink your dinner. What kind of meal do you eat at lunch? Do you eat mini meals through out the day?

Can you please give me a one day of what you eat, so I can better grasp what you mean. What you have brought up in your posts is new to me.

If you do decide to start a group concerning your knowledge on food combining and such, I would be interested to join to learn more.

I vaguely remember the Diamonds; and I know I read their first book a way back when it was released.
