Guest guest
Yeah I didnt like the smart dogs either. I have tried a few different vegie/soy dogs and found them mushy, mealy, or gritty. I was told the Hot dogs by MorningStar are really good. I got the Morning star brand Corn dogs and they are good. I havent gotten the hot dogs yet. Thought I would try one at a time. But if the corn dogs are any inclination, then the hot dogs should be pretty good too. We liked the Corn dogs. I Hope that helps. Guest guest
Catherine, Yves makes a "restaurant quality" veggie dog that is much bigger--bun sized--than the smart dogs. When I first tried one, I had a tough time not thinking of the real thing. ;O) I don't know of any of them that are "just like" the real thing, but this was closest in my book. Also, it makes a difference how you cook them. You don't want to really boil them, just soak them in boiling water for a few minutes. Some people like to saute them after heating for a few minutes in a lightly oiled skillet to get a little skin on them. ~Nita - Catherine Wednesday, September 10, 2003 9:15 AM smart dogs!!!!! Guest guest
I've never heard of these. What section of the market are they in? I live in So. California. Thanks, Nora , Laura Schauble <schauble@o...> wrote: > Try Yves Good Dogs.
