Bean Pie recipe and a question

OK,

who is going to be brave and adventurous enough to try this recipe and give a

report?

 

 

Bean Pie

 

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS

In one bowl, mix together:

Approx. 2

cups Navy Beans

5 cups sugar

1/2 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

2 tablespoons cinnamon

In a separate bowl, mix together:

8 eggs

2 tablespoons vanilla

1 tablespoon lemon

1/4 teaspoon yellow food coloring

DIRECTIONS

Combine

ingredients from both bowls and stir in two 12-ounce cans of condensed

milk. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Let cool for 40

minutes before slicing. Makes four 9-inch deep dish pies.
