Guest guest
I sure am getting a lot of advice!!! And you came up with the perfect analogy...would they try to get a Jewish person to eat pork, or someone who's allergic to nuts to eat a Snickers bar, or someone who's allergic to chocolate to eat a Hershey's? And I would NOT be able to live with myself knowing I ate an animal that had to DIE to lay on that table with stuffing shoved up it's butt!!! I'd just feel plain awful!!! So I definitely am gonna stick to my guns, make something to offer, and eat and let eat. Peace Up, ***Sara*** " Fur used to turn heads, now it turns stomachs. Guest guest
Why not to eat turkey? Two words: Bird Flu. Same goes for meat...Mad Cow, etc... At least someone will be able to call 911. I know it sounds morbid, but think about what they are eating. It also kills the converation.

Did you hear the news report that Bird Flu was found in Canada and they stopped importing turkeys from them? They also destroyed over 60,000 ducks (from a processing plant/farm). My sister's husband and boys go pheasant hunting and she refuses to cook the meat (instead gives it to her barn cats) because she is afraid of bird flu. Yet, she didn't have any problem cooking up a turkey and she still buys chicken! She thinks that wild birds are more risky. Go figure!
