Guest guest
Hello Chanda (meaning Goddess) A hello to everyone as well. I have been offline for a long while due to life's problematic issues. I won't digress into great detail only to say that I am now living alone in an apartment, without my fireplace, " laughs " and I am on the single dad schedule. Very long story just truncated. After that being said, Chanda, I have tried this myself, with the cow milk version. I recall the aroma was even more pleasing to me than the flavor. This makes me want to go out and get some cardamom. Ron On Behalf Of PuterWitch Thursday, November 24, 2005 2:11 AM vegan tea to die for recipe My Indian friend Ani came over tonight. She made me the tea. Indian Cardamom Tea 2 teabags, if decaff, then 3 tea bags one mug of soymilk (you can unveganize this as my friend does not use soymilk at home, she uses 2% cow's milk) pinch of ground cardamom, to taste, about a little over 1/8 teaspoon 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of maple syrup, go ahead and sub with sugar or other sweetener if desired. The tea is meant to be sweet. pour mug of soymilk into a pot. put in teabags, and all the ingredients. Turn flame to high. Just as soon as it starts to boil remove from heat. be careful it bubbles up quickly. Then take your mug and put the teabags in it, hold the cup over the pot almost upside down, and with a spoon press them real good to get the tea out. Then add them to the milk gain, then repeat the pressing process, do this a few times. Pour into mug and soooooooo enjoy. I am now in love with cardamom! hugs, Chanda

Guest guest
Hello Angela (Angel) Thanks so much for the lovely thoughts of words of encouragement. It's been a rough ride but today I see all that I do have for which to be thankful. Guest guest
Thank you so much Gayle (merry and lively one) I had a very nice night, possibly due in part to your wishes for me. My daughter was tuckered out early  I have off from work tomorrow for the first day in 60 days! I am going shopping tomorrow, and prior to going I will be perusing the recipe files. I am going to cook and freeze a few meals tomorrow for next work week. Ron On Behalf Of glpveg4life Thursday, November 24, 2005 6:21 PM Re: vegan tea to die for recipe HI Ron: Here is to the future. I wondered what happened to you, Ron. I'm sorry to hear about the changes in your life, but I do hope that overall things will improve even if they aren't the same. > After that being said, Chanda, I have tried this myself, with the > cow milk version. Republic of Tea makes one called " Warm the Heart Cinnamon Cardamom " tea... it's just soooooo yummy, and great when it's chilly or cold out. But definitely, get some cardamom - a little goes a long way! :-) *healinghugs* Amy
