Guest guest
Hi Denise, Give me a name for your salad and I;ll post it in the files ..(:- ) Donna denise rounds <deniserounds wrote: Wow, I knew that I was smart, but I had no idea of exactly how smart! I make a spinach salad with a homemade balsamic vinagarette. Spinach- bag or fresh! Dressing ingredients: Creamy dijon mustard Balsalmic vinager Olive oil Avacado Mandarin oranges+ some juice to top dressing ingredients toasted sunflower seeds. Salt & pepper Mix ingredients in blender depending how bitter you want it. I usually like it a taupe color, so I use 1/4 cup olive oil as a base. I use about 1/8 cup vinager, about the same mustard. Use some of the oranges liquid to salad dressing. Add salt and pepper to taste, pulse to emulisify! I like my dressing with a bite so I add more balsalmic, plus it makes it a bit less fattening to use more balsalmic. I use the seeds, oranges , and avacados liberally. I like lots of oranges and seeds. I have no exact recipe, I rarely do. I just taste, if it tastes good, then its good! Hope you all love this like I do! Enjoy! Guest guest
Okay, I apologize for what I am about to ask...forgive me. I have a retched cold and brains out of gear. But, on the recipe below how far down do you go in the ingredient list that you are blending or do the avocados, oranges and seeds go into the blender too? linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it.
