Chestnut info Chanda

I can't to wait and hear if you like them or not. I have made soups with them

and didn't like it and then again they tasted good in some dishes. I haven't

used them in awhile now. I don't crave them like onions and garlic and greens.

My chestnuts were so yummy! I had no idea they would be so sweet tasting!

I cooked them a bit too long though, next time I will know.

I don't like nuts mixed with things, unless it's peanuts ground to put in a

sauce.

We enjoyed the ones that weren't overcooked just by themselves. I am gonna get

more today.

How did you eat them, I'm curious. I have a chestnut risotto recipe to post

that you will probably like. It's sitting at home waiting for me to post.

I made a soup once with chestnuts and it was a cost of almost $30 after I

bought all the exoctic mushrooms, etc. It went in the trash, was horrible.

That's why I say they can be hit or miss.

we just ate em' with nuthin'

I don\t like nuts in recipe unless it\s ground peanut :o)
