Guest guest
I can't to wait and hear if you like them or not. I have made soups with them and didn't like it and then again they tasted good in some dishes. I haven't used them in awhile now. I don't crave them like onions and garlic and greens. Guest guest
I don't like nuts mixed with things, unless it's peanuts ground to put in a sauce. We enjoyed the ones that weren't overcooked just by themselves. I am gonna get more today. hugs, Chanda - purplepassion Thursday, December 01, 2005 7:22 PM Re: Re: Chestnut info Chanda I can't to wait and hear if you like them or not. Guest guest
How did you eat them, I'm curious. I have a chestnut risotto recipe to post that you will probably like. It's sitting at home waiting for me to post. I made a soup once with chestnuts and it was a cost of almost $30 after I bought all the exoctic mushrooms, etc. It went in the trash, was horrible. That's why I say they can be hit or miss. Hugs, Donna puterwitch wrote: I don't like nuts mixed with things, unless it's peanuts ground to put in a sauce.
