I have a new bottle of thyme a coworker gave me. She is moving and cleaning out

her kitchen shelves, never opened it. Why type recipes does it go good in? Any

suggestions?.................Isis

I love roasting potatoes with thyme. Cut up potatoes into bite sized

pieces and place in an oven-proof dish. Sprinkle with thyme and salt

and drizzle on oil. Mix thoroughly and roast at 450 until potatoes are

done, maybe about 40 min? depending on how large your pieces are.

That's good to know. It's an herb I have never paid much attention

to. I usually make the roasted potatoes with rosemary and olive oil.

Oh, yeah I use rosemary on the potatoes as well. Although they have

they taste very differently, I sometimes use them interchangably, or

at least together. I love adding crushed thyme and rosemary to my

pasta sauces, when I buy the jarred stuff.
