Guest guest
Hey, my mother used to fry balogna in catsup for us. The catsup changed of course, caramelizing and it was good. I think I ate the catsup though and kind of pushed the balogna around. The little men are on their way though to pick you up and they have this really cool little white jacket for you to wear. Canned asparagus? Are you insane? linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. OMG my 8 year old daughter and me, we LOVE canned peas, I sauté them in a pan with a little olive oil, garlic powder, and sea salt and pepper. She even takes them to school in her thermos and puts up with other kids' " ewwww's " cause she likes them that much, LOL. And canned asparagus, um, sauté that with 2 cloves of chopped garlic, and a small onion coarsely chopped. sauté the onion and garlic a bit first, then add the asparagus (drained) and sauté a few minutes, it's a yummy treat! and it's way nutritious too! Canned asparagus smells so badly. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. I do like frozen ones, howsomever, as long as they too are not cooked to death.
Guest guest
I see nothing insane about a Mother fixing vegetables for an 8 yr old and having her enjoy them. I must give the canned peas and asparagus a try prepared as you mentioned Chanda. Thank you for the wonderful tip, I have both in my cupboard.
