Chestnut and birdseed...... info Chanda

Just ate them plain? By the way I don't blame the dog for going after the

birdseed in the peanut butter, that sounds good to me.LOL

I used to eat my parakeets seed as a kid...hehehehe I did I did.......Donna

How did you eat them, I'm curious. I have a chestnut risotto recipe to post

that you will probably like. It's sitting at home waiting for me to post.

I made a soup once with chestnuts and it was a cost of almost $30 after I

bought all the exoctic mushrooms, etc. It went in the trash, was horrible.

That's why I say they can be hit or miss.

I can't to wait and hear if you like them or not. I have made soups with

them and didn't like it and then again they tasted good in some dishes. I

haven't used them in awhile now. I don't crave them like onions and garlic and

greens.

I didn't know that about soaking them first! I will have to try that
