Guest guest
Colleen, Don't you feel bad about the cooking, we will help you. Listen to this. I was born and raised in LA and I get lost going a few miles from home. I had a man stop his car to ask me where a certain street was, while I was outside washing my car. I told him I had never heard of it. 2 days later I was driving a few blocks from my house and while the light was red, I looked at the street name and it was the same street that man asked me about....LOL Donna Dove <Dove wrote: After seeing all the chard recipes go by, I realize how dull and boring we have been doing chard. (steaming it). I love garlic; but never thought of putting garlic in with the chard. I am not an adventuresome cook; and this proves it! LOL Well, actually, I am not a cook at all. (sigh) In fact, truth be told, I hate to cook. But my health dictates that I eat better and that means learning to cook. You would think, at 54 years old; I would be able to cook. LOL In the past; my specialties were 1) out of the box 2) out of the can and 3) out of the freezer 4) out to dinner. What that boils down to is that if I couldn't dump it in a pan or stick it in the oven; I didn't cook it. That has left me not only unable to tell by looking at a recipe what it will taste like, but sadly lacking in the ability to look around and combine ingredients. Colleen PS I currently live in Windsor, Ontario which is directly across the river from Detroit, Michigan. I was born & grew up in the metro Detroit area (Dearborn - home of Henry Ford) and lived there up until 1999, when I moved to Canada. Guest guest
Mya in the group is my niece and she is exactly the same. We can go shopping in the mall and we won't know which direction we should go when we exit the store. I parked my car on level 3 one time and was on level 2 looking for it. I reported my car stolen....hehehehe You have a pal here the completely understands. I'm good in the kitchen but don't dare try and show me how to do arts and crafts. I glued a cup to my finger with Krazy glue and broke my sisters sewing machine and worst part is, I never even sewed an inch. Sending you a smile!
