Guest guest
Mel, I'm thinking about you. Be strong and hang in there. What's your boyfriends first name? I will say prayers for him and send good karma his way. Hugs, Donna Melissa Hill <assilembob wrote: So...My ex boyfriend (who I am still VERY close with) left for Iraq yesterday. Know what his last meal request was? Chanda's Kale recipe, some pasta with a simple tomato basil sauce (i put mushrooms, zuccini, carrots, peas and spinach in mine and just mushrooms in his) and some garlic bread. He isn't even veg. He tried to abstain around me but the boy is carnivore hardcore...so it's odd he wanted my veg food!! Yesterday was a difficult day, but Saturday was worse because he was calling everyone and saying goodbye. This morning there was word of more injuries and I think a death of soldiers over there...very unsettling. I go between being fine and bawling my eyes out. It's a very strange feeling. Anyway. I just really needed to share that. ~Mel
Guest guest
His name is Dave. And yeah. I meant chard...not kale. I had just bought some Kale at the store when I got home so I was blanking out. Thanks everyone. We had a turbulent relationship so most of my family and friends are happy that he's gone, so I have very few sympathetic ears to talk to. His mom emailed me today and told me she's happy he has someone who cares about him here. It was kinda emotional. She's his adopted mom, and his adopted father died last year so she's had it rough lately...so this is going to be so hard on her. Stupid boy for joining the army. Again. Thanks so much. Much love. ~Mel --- purplepassion <thelilacflower wrote: > Mel, I'm thinking about you. Be strong and hang in > there. What's your boyfriends first name? Guest guest
You aren't alone, Mel. It is a hard time to have a loved one in the military. You, Dave, and his mom are all in my thoughts... peace, Jenni On Dec 13, 2005, at 11:09 PM, Melissa Hill wrote: > His name is Dave. > And yeah. I meant chard...not kale.
