Ingredients clearly (well, as clear as these things ever are LOL) state that in contains: SODIUM CASEINATE (A MILK DERIVATIVE)** Aren't these manufacturers a pain! Best love, Pat >Coffee-Mate is what my mom always used when I was growing up, and according to the site ( http://www.coffee-mate.com/product_flavor.asp?id=20028121157366149243206 ) the Original flavor liquid appears to be vegan. I am pretty sure that anything with the word Caseinate ( Or casein ...) is from milk protein... many of the soy cheeses that are not vegan have this little ingredient.
