Guest guest
you can buy sheets of beeswaz and wicks and make your own safe candles However I use candlelight for dinner everynight, and when I heard about the dangers with parafins, I decided to swith. I work at a radio station, and was talking to our staff scientist about it, and he told me this you get just as much polution from natural candles, different tyoes -but it's still smoke. It makes no difference, the big news is: There is no danger for those of us burning a few in our homes, the major problem is in churches where you have 100 candles burning at a time -if you're just burning a few candles then you have nothing to worry about. It's just overhyped from the internet and some media mike my trade lists http://www.geocities.com/realshows my launch radio station http://launch./lc/?rt=0 & rp1=0 & rp2=1281193352 ________ DSL – Something to write home about. Guest guest
In a church the levels of smoke etc...is it dangerrous to breath? I knew I was avoiding church for a good reason (just kidding) When they use the incense in a closed environment, it does make me want to gag. melissa p
Guest guest
One can also buy a block (usually 1 lb.) of bees wax from a local bee keeper. Much cheaper than the sheets. That is where I buy my local honey and beeswax. Check out a local grower that does his/her best to not use harmful chemicals on his hives and who is close to organic fields..It can be done. I buy from a beekeeper who lives in a small mountain community. Buy wicks from your local health food market. Very easy to make candles of all kinds. Mine do not emit smoke and have no colors or fragrance.
