Guest guest
i don't know if Tuno has its own web address, but since they are made by Worthington Loma Linda you might find it here: http://www.kelloggs.com/brand/worthington/ Good luck! ~ pt ~ The world has achieved brilliance without conscience. Guest guest
I do know this company and most of their products taste awful to me. They have been around a long time. I wonder if it's not popular here since we have such a wide variety of other products. I lmow I'm sure grateful for the Quorn roast. Thanks for this link PT, Donna ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote: i don't know if Tuno has its own web address, but since they are made by Worthington Loma Linda you might find it here: http://www.kelloggs.com/brand/worthington/ Good luck! ~ pt ~ The world has achieved brilliance without conscience. Guest guest
On some site somewhere...and yeah, I know this is vague, I'll have to do some lookin'...I read that Quorn is made up of a kind of mold! ICKY! Why would they DO that? (aka " Why would 8th Generation put lanolin in their soymilk? " line of thought...) Thank you for your input, Donna, on the Worthington company. I have seen lots of their products online at www.NotMeat.com and wondered just how good they were. Maybe I won't waste my money on any of their stuff now. It's great to be here and get help and ideas and recipes. :>) Bron On 1/11/06, purplepassion <thelilacflower wrote: > > I do know this company and most of their products taste awful to me. Guest guest
hi, I guess Quorn can be looked at as a mushroom-type product...mushrooms, mold, same thing!? That said, I have not tried it...they don't seem to carry it in my area. Going to try the tofu (frozen , then thawed) salad tomorrow. I oddly kind of miss tuna salad, I may eventually crack open that can of Tuno and I'll let you know how it goes : ) melissa p
Guest guest
The two main ingredients in the Quorn products are egg whites and a mycoprotein, from the fungi family - and a relative of mushrooms, truffles, and morel, that offers a strong nutritional profile and an authentic meat-like texture. Here is a link explaining how they came about with this new product: http://www.quorn.us/fiabout.htm Denise , <southernflower@g...> wrote: > > On some site somewhere...and yeah, I know this is vague, I'll have to do > some lookin'...I read that Quorn is made up of a kind of mold!
