Just want to mention you can sub. honey with pure maple sugar in recipes.

There's some vegetarian food for thought, or that one is vegan..Smiles! Donna

This I like!!

At this point in my husband's and my journey, we have managed to give

up the dairy. Today I have made some more Soymilk using the blender and

pot method. Not too difficult at all. Eggs will be next. I think the

most difficult in the purest vegan since is giving up honey. Have to

think about that one.

Thanks for all the interesting posts and now I think I will relax and

browse some more.

Ps..Love the pics.

Do they have maple sugar (your original post mentioned maple sugar)?

I know that the maple sugar is often very expensive, but Dr. Weil

likes the stuff...

But anyway, you'd sub maple *syrup* for honey; if you subbed with the

maple sugar you'd need to also account for the liquid difference,

which could be a little trickier.

HI:

I use maple syrup when I make bread instead of honey, I also use soy powder

instead of the instant milk powder the recipe called for.
