Guest guest
Give me a plate of mashed potatoes and I will make a crater in the center and fill with tons of things. Lentil stew is good in the center also. What's your favorite? Donna genny_y2k <genny_y2k wrote: I like creamed corn as a *gravy * substitute on mashed potatoes. Garnish with chopped green onions and fresh tomato wedges. Very colorful and tasty with a side dish of Kale or Spinach. Deanna

Guest guest
-Gayle, I haven't tried Sloppy Joe on my mashed taters but it sounds yummy. My favorite meal is mashed potatoes and cole slaw. I bought the organic instant potato flakes and they are not bad. I am trying to think of different ways to use them , such as thickening a soup. Any ideas?? Guest guest
I've been craving mashed potatoes all week and James made me some last night. I wasn't feeling well all day, nausea would come and go in waves so when I got home I just laid down on the couch. I asked for baked beans and peas to go with my taters. I ate the peas separately but mixed the baked beans in the mash. Mmmm, good comfort food, brought home memories. Guest guest
I'm simple. Non-dairy butter. Used to love it with cheddar. Oh, I miss cheddar. I need to order some of those Vegan cheeses online. On 1/20/06, organic_homestead <organic_homestead wrote: > I've been craving mashed potatoes all week and James made me some last > night. Guest guest
HI Deanna: If you are a bread baker you can put it into your bread dough. I will try to think up some other ways to use them. My parents always made sloppy joe over mashed potatoes the first time I saw them served on a bun I didn't know what it was. I thought it was very odd.
