Guest guest
HI Donna: Having worked where no one spoke to me and I was excluded from everything, I would much rather work where people are friendly and nice. Gayl
Guest guest
HI Donna: This job is not like that although moral is not great. We are a much more friendly bunch. They don't understand my being vegetarian but they don't say anything against it either. This place they are real big drinkers and I almost never drink, in the 5 years that I have worked there they have seen me drink twice and both times I didn't have to drive. Even though I don't drink I will go to the bar with them. This year the company outing will be a weekend trip somewhere as we met our goal for last year. Guest guest
HI Donna: They will ask me things like don't you miss meat? or don't you feel like you haven't really eaten and are missing something. But that is really it. They are big drinkers at my office. One night we did a girls night out after work and our boss not a girl was still in the office so we invited him to join us.. He could only stay for like 45 minutes however in that time he had 3 or 4 drinks, then drove home the 30 minutes or so because he had his kids that night. The youngest of which was 11 or 12 at the time. Gayle
Guest guest
Geez, I wish no one spoke to me...LOL I don't know what is is, I love being off to myself in my office with my rock & rock playing , on the telephone collecting $$$ from the frauds, with the computer on , feet up and guess what? Everyone comes in there........(:- ) Donna glpveg4life wrote: HI Chanda: Having nice coworkers is always a plus. Years ago when I was first married I worked at a company where no one spoke to me. Actually I think 4 of us started on the same day and we spoke to each other but no one spoke to us. I stayed about 3 weeks as soon as I found something else I was out of there. Guest guest
I wonder what was wrong????? That is terrible when everyone is in an unfriendly click. I no when I eat my veggie lunch they was to come dig all through it and see just what it is.LOL Believe it or not, I bring them food and they love it TVP and all. I really like all the coworkers and get along with them but I love being in my own world. How is this job? Guest guest
Hi Gayle I don't work with the happy hour crowd. But believe me there's one that has a big empty jug of a cup and she comes in and opens 3 yes I said 3 cans of Coke and drinks it straight down at 7am She has high sugar and both parents are diabetic. There's a tamale truck that stops at 10am and they eat plates full of those so I can say we have a bunch of unhealthy eaters. It's funny how curious they are about my food. Not one ever makes comments. The one that used to is now a vegetarian and comes to me for recipes. The others admire my will power. No hard drinkers as far as I can tell.
