Guest guest
As a treat I bought myself a rather flashy juicer/smoothie maker which was reduced by two thirds in the January sales and seemed like too good a bargain to miss. I thought it might be useful for starting off the day with a liquid (non-alcoholic,LOL) breakfast and for those days that I can't face cooking and as a way of boosting my vitamin intake. I've checked out the files and there are a couple of recipes that I'd like to try out but I was wondering if anyone had any favourite juice or smoothie combinations they'd like to share. Guest guest
I start every morning with a smoothie of homemade oat milk, a banana, frozen blueberries and raspberries or strawberries, yogurt, and rice protein. -Erin , " christie_0131 " <christie0131@g...> wrote: > > As a treat I bought myself a rather flashy juicer/smoothie maker which > was reduced by two thirds in the January sales and seemed like too > good a bargain to miss. Guest guest
My dad gave me a smoothie maker for christmas and I've been having a smoothie almost every day this month. I haven't experimented too much, as in the morning I don't have much time; but this is what I make: 1/2 box silken tofu (firm) 1-2 bananas 1/3 c non fat milk (more or less depending on consistency you want) 3-4 Tbsp frozen orange concentrate 1-2 Tbsp ground flax seed 5-6 whole frozen strawberries If I'm out of tofu, then I add more milk, some yogurt and 2 Tbsp protein powder. Guest guest
Here's one I learned from someone I know: Buy some frozen fruit of your choice, then add fruit juice of your choice to it and stir in blender. Recommended is orange juice, but you can experiment. He added vodka to it, but I'm sure that you may want to not do so.
