Lavender Cookies 2 large eggs 1/2 cup butter (softened) 1 stick 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 tsps. dried lavender (crushed) 1 1/2 cups flour 2 tsps. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 375 degrees Beat eggs, butter, sugar, lavender and vanilla together until blended and fluffy. In small mixing bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt until blended. Add the flour mixture to wet dough mixture. Stir until well blended. Drop by a full teaspoon at a time onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until lightly browned, about 8 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool. " Lions and tigers who wait in the shadows.
