Guest guest
My favorite lip balm is called Unpetroleum by Avalon Natural Products. Their website is www.avalonnaturalproducts.com All of their products are 100% vegetarian and never tested on animals. Guest guest
Denise, I make my own from olive oil, comfry and bee's wax. Family and friend's love it. My only problem is finding small glass wide mouth jars to put it in. Also I would like to find some tiny wooden *spatulas* to use instead of fingers. Guest guest
Hey Deanna.. I had another idea.. you could use the small spice jars.. I thought they might be good to reuse, since they are plastic, so if someone wanted to toss them in a back pack or purse, no worries that they'd break like the jelly jars... but the jelly jars would look so pretty! =) as for wooden spatulas... the only thing I can think of is those old wooden spoons that came with some kind of ice cream thing.. it's been a while.. the memory is vague.. Jenni ps.. how about a recipe Deanna??? I'd love to try to make this lib balm! I found a place that sells shea butter... but I was concerned because it was not refridgerated, but the jar said to refridgerate it.... Guest guest
I never thought about those little wooden ice cream spoons . They would be perfect. Wonder if they are still around somewhere? Your idea about the plastic jars for back packing is excellent. My niece and her hubby go on lots of snow shoeing , and back packing hikes and they use my balm. I save every jar I can for storing herbs, teas , etc. but I always buy spices and herbs in bulk so no little jars..I will put the word out to friends and family and see what we can come up with. Thanks for your hint. I have no recipe for the balm, just a hand full here and a pinch there but I will email you if you like and tell you how to make it. Guest guest
HEY DEANNA!! another thing that I was thinking would work but not look as nice as a little wooden spatula would be the small plastic spoons used for tasting ice cream (do they still do that?) \ also, if you get Pete's tofu to go Desserts come with small spoons.. they are clear plastic.. I can see if we have any , if you'd be interested. (found here http://www.sunrise- soya.com/petestofu.html ) speakign of tofu 2go.. I highly recommend the sesame ginger=) also.. what about popsicle sticks?? orrr other craft sticks.. I bet if you go to a craft store you might find a whole bunch of really good 'spatulas'. =) jenni , " genny_y2k " <genny_y2k> wrote: > > I never thought about those little wooden ice cream spoons .
