Guest guest
I'm so sorry to hear that she passed away recently. I've got a tribute to her going up in my kitchen. that's a great quote! I'm bettin' she had quite the fire to her spirit!! My grandmother did too. Lucy ChristaNovelli wrote:RE: I'm making a sign for my kitchen!! What did you call your grandmother? I want to quote her!! Guest guest
Well, I feel awful now. When I read your initial note, I just assumed he was unmoving in his stance of *needing* meat in every meal. sorry about the misinterpretation. Guest guest
*sigh* Can I use something else instead of tempeh? I'm allergic to mold... This is such a hassle. Sending them out to Morguedonalds is looking better and better Sandra There is a lovely recipe in the website www.govegantexas.org, it is an indonesian tempeh salad, and believe me, I always do it to my friends and family and they love it! the meat eaters say they could turn vegan with that salad. Guest guest
LOL! I suppose that's true, but then I'd have to deal with the whole issue of what *I* would eat! But in the end, I still don't own a grill, so it's a moot point. Sandra , Sandra Mort <sandra.mort@o...> wrote: > Don't own a grill, can't cook meat on my grill even if I did, because we keep kosher. Guest guest
Oh, don't feel bad. I lucked out and got great inlaws, a rare treat these days. I actually have promised my mother in law that if she were to die, I'd take care of my FIL, including cooking meat for him. I'm sure that the other sibs (who eat meat) would take care of him, but I think we'd be the only ones to WANT him, if you know what I mean... Sandra Well, I feel awful now.
