All of the talk of the BK veggie really got to me and I have been craving them

miserably.

I too had a bit of trouble in getting them microwaved rather than broiled but

they did eventually obligue. The, worst problem, however, is that the people

working do not know how long to cook them.

Does anyone know what corperate has said about this or know what I should advise

to these people as to how long to microwave them for a pleasurable outcome?

The last time I went my kids and I ate the burgers, but had to remove some very

hard ,dried out, portions as they were literally too hard to bite. (ie they were

unevenly cooked and overdone in parts) I told the manager, that we wouldn't make

a big deal of it this time, (as my kids were really bored and hungry from the

extra wait to begin with), but that they were overdone. He said he would mess

around with them, becuase " they are meant to be broiled, not microwaved, so we

don't know how long to cook them. " His attitude spoke otherwise, and I would

really like to eat edible burgers the next time we go.

Anyone with the answers please respond.

Thanks,

Debbie

About 1 to 1.5 minutes per burger is max microwave time, otherwise

they end up hard. Their microwave should also be on a revolving

plate, otherwise they might be cooked unevenly.

I stopped buying the BK Veggie because the employees said that they

had to cook them 3-4 minutes, and each time they came out hard.

For some reason, the managers think the BK Veggie is like animal

burgers, which require to be cooked longer otherwise someone might

get sick from an undercooked burger.

I've had them several times at different bk stores and to be honest, I think

they always come out that way. :( They're just not meant to be nuked.

When I've had the veggie burger there, even broiled,

it is over done and hard in places. One time we

couldn't even eat it it was so hard.

I was under the impression that they use Garden Burger

brand burgers. If that is the case, or not, most

burgers never take longer than a minute or 2. In

addition, I would assume that there are instructions

for microwaving on the box, especially if they are

recieving a name brand product like Garden Burger.

Let me know what you find out.

Peace,

Joann
