Guest guest
Well, I just found out that I am pregnant with child no. 2. I was not yet vegetarian when I was pregnant the first time, so it will be interesting to see if I get any meat cravings. Not that I would give in to them even if I did!! An interesting thing is that my due date is my dd's birthday. Ahhhh. Rachael

I didn't have any meat cravings with my son. Although I had been vegan for quite a while. I teach HypnoBirthing childbirth classes. So many of my clients ask about nutrition and cravings. It's so variable. What month is this one due? I'm hearing lots of babies due at the end of the year, Nov. and Dec. Peace, Laura
Guest guest
Let's try that again, CONGRATULATIONS! During both of my pregnancies I had meat dreams. I always woke up grossed out. Are you having a home birth, or a birth center birth? Both of my daughters were born at home. Guest guest
I am still VERY early in my pregnancy - Not due till March. But I also know of three people due around the end of the year (sept - nov). And in responce to someone else - it will be a hospital (birthing center) birth. I live in a crappy apartment with a too high mold spore count to want to give birth at home, though it is something I would definately have considered if I lived in a nicer place. Guest guest
Everyone was taking bets to see if I would have meat cravings, never happened! We'll see when we work toward baby #2. Guest guest
Hi Rachael, I was the one who asked where you'd be giving birth. So, is it a hospital or a birthing center or have you not decided yet. There is a huge difference between a medicalized birth and a birth center birth attended by midwives. The latter is proven safer for you and baby in the case of an uncomplicated pregnancy. I recommend The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth by Henci Goer. Hope your're feeling well.
