Guest guest
Has anyone heard anything " bad " associated with using Bragg's Liquid Amino Acid? I have several recipes that call for it - it's supposed to be a good unfermented substitute for soy sauce. I called the company to ask them how it's made and the representative said it is made from soaking soybeans in plain distilled water and that's it. I asked if the beans are blended with the water and the irritated response was " NO. " I just couldn't understand how the " no-sodium-added " Bragg's could taste so salty from just soaking soybeans in it.

I haven't heard anything " bad " about Bragg's. We use it all the time though. The only problem I could see is if you have a sensitivity or allergy to soy. They do have a website as well. Guest guest
I'm afraid there is bad news about Bragg's Amino. The problem is that Braggs makes it's own MSG while sitting on the shelf I stopped using it for over 2 years now. Love Lynda

I'm very sensitive to MSG and have never had a reaction. I consulted with the naturpath in my office( a wellness center). She informed me that the natural fermentation process occurs and produces the compound. She mentioned that she is severly allergic to MSG and has never had a problem with Braggs. Hope this info. helps to clear things a bit. Peace, Laura in MD
