Guest guest
Hi All, My cousin is the creator and editor of Pandora's Box. She has 3 small children and a single attachment mom. She was heartbroken when she realized that she just couldn't make time to do the magazine anymore. She may try to start up again when she has more time. Thanks to her for all the great information and ideas she helped share. God Bless! Janeen Doh! <dohdriver wrote: Does anyone know what happened to Pandora's Box magazine? Did it fold? Guest guest
Thanks for the info, Janeen. I am wondering if you know something, though. They had a vegi kids essay contest a while back. My older dd entered & , although she didn't win, they said that they would be publishing all entries in the fall issue of the magazine. I had been checking the website periodically to see when the fall issue came out so that I could order a few copies of it. Like Doh, I noticed that the website disappeared a little bit ago. I figured that it was technical problems & thought that I would just check back later. Now knowing that the magazine is no longer publishing, do you know if that issue with the vegi kids essay entries was ever published & whether we can still order copies of it, if so. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Christa, I'm sorry that I don't know more about what's going on with the magazine. I had become a new r myself and hadn't gotten an issue yet. Maybe she'll get the fall issue out and put a final word in it or something. Last we spoke about a month ago she might be moving too, so I really haven't been in touch with her recently. Sorry if your dd is disappointed, it's hard to explain that sort of thing to a little one. Response to: d kimberling " <dancingdolphindk I meant that she is " attachment parenting " and a single mother. I'll try to sum it up as parents who support breastfeeding, homeschooling, home birthing, and a whole philosophy of childraising. The magazine Pandora's Box had coined the phrase " Parenting outside the box " or outside the mainstream. Good luck and good bless! Janeen --- ChristaNovelli wrote: > > Thanks for the info, Janeen. She's a single mom who practices attachment parenting. If you're not familiar with that term, it means, among other things, that she's very hands-on with her kids! Guest guest
Thanks. I actually don't to the mag, so I likely won't be able to get a copy if a final issue goes out only to rs. If anyone does hear anything & hears of a way for a non-r to buy some (or a) copy of that issue, please let me know. Thanks again!
