Guest guest
hi there. I was wondering if anyone could reccommend a good cookbook that incorporates meals for children as well as more complex meals for adults. Having one good veggie cookbook with multiple ideas (including nutrition) would be great. There are so many out there it is difficult to decide! Thanks for your ideas. Guest guest
I have quite a few vegetarian / vegan cookbooks in my house. Most of them never get used. The one I use the most is " Meatless Meals for Working People " I got it when I was in college. I think I got it for free with my VRG subscription or at a discounted price. It has great quick ideas. Things my daughter likes as well as my husband and I. I don't want to spend a ton of time cooking. I didn't as a busy college student (working, classes, and college athlete). And I still don't.. working 40 hours a week and trying to work out and shuffle my daughter about to her activities in the evenings and on weekends. Guest guest
My favorite cookbook, that the whole family enjoys the recipes out of is, is The Peaceful Palate. The are simple, down to earth, wonderful food recipes. I am sure at amazon.com, you can find it. Good Luck, Tracy
Guest guest
Lisa, " How it all vegan " has a section for kids. It is a wonderrful cookbook. Probably one I used the most when returning to the vegan lifestyle. I think it is a lot more helpful than their second cookbook " Garden of Vegan " , but both have wonderful recipes. " How it all vegan " mostly just has snack ideas for kids, but it does have a few meal ideas. " The New Farm Cookbook " is also great. They tell you, what recipes go over well for the kids in their community. I really like that book as well, but was dissappointed that it didn't have more recipes. LOL! If that tells you anything about how much I like that cookbook. Melanie Lisa Wallace Larkin <wallylarkin wrote: hi there. Guest guest
I have the fairly new " The Vegetarian Family Cookbook " by Nava Atlas and it's excellent. " Flexible, adaptable and filled with ways to make wholesome food more attractive to children. " It is pretty comprehensive and includes everything from breakfast to baking and snacks. There is some varied information in the introduction but not too much specifically on nutrition. Shawna Mail - Find what you need with new enhanced search. Learn more.
