Guest guest
Has anyone seen this film? It is playing in my city next week. I've heard it's amazing. To see what it is about, go to www.tribeofheart.org Hopefully I'll get to go. Peace, Laura
Guest guest
Very, very powerful film. I did find it almost unbearably difficult to watch in parts (there is one long and particularly graphic sequence in it), but well worth it. If you are bringing people unfamiliar with factory farming (or if you are particularly sensitive yourself) make sure you leave time at the end for processing what you have seen. Usually the screenings are followed by a Q & A time that helps people digest (so to speak) the film. There are usually vegan snacks served, too! Guest guest
Yes, I've seen it and it is very powerful! There were some difficult parts but also some very very heart warming ones and I found it really helpful to discuss it afterwards with others who have seen it. I would like to buy a copy and hopefully encourage some nonveg*n friends to view it also. I am not sure what changes are in the works, but they are asking people to wait and purchase the new edition (or to send in their old version and exchange it for the new one when it is ready). I think they may also be encouraging people not to put on screenings until the new version is available. There's more info about this on the TOH website: www.tribeofheart.org
