Guest guest
I just learned from Hains that the newly formulated original enriched Soy Dream and Rice Dream Milks will have cane sugar in them. My children have been Soy/Rice Dream " milkaholics " ever since they were weaned. The only other soy milk I could find that was not sweetened by cane sugar was Westsoy's unsweetened version but my children did not like it. Does anyone know of another brand of soy/rice milk that is not sweetened with cane sugar and is organic that might be good to drink?

Silk makes an unsweetened soy milk that it organic and tastes pretty good. It is in a green carton in the refrigerated section. Guest guest
I believe that Vitasoy (our favorite) makes an unsweetened version. _____ On Behalf Of admartin Tuesday, August 30, 2005 11:49 AM Change in Soy & Rice Dream Milk I just learned from Hains that the newly formulated original enriched Soy Dream and Rice Dream Milks will have cane sugar in them. Guest guest
I drink Westsoy's unsweetened soy/almond milk and like it a lot. It's better ice cold, though. - " admartin " <admartin Tuesday, August 30, 2005 11:48 AM Change in Soy & Rice Dream Milk >I just learned from Hains that the newly formulated original enriched Soy > Dream and Rice Dream Milks will have cane sugar in them. Guest guest
I suppose you are looking for unsweetened soy/rice milk, huh? I've always drank the sweetened ones, and I've noticed that they are sweetened with " evaporated ogranic cane juice " . I saw something interesting on the label of the " 365 " brand of soda in Whole Foods Market: " We've reformulated our 365 sodas to eliminate the high fructose corn syrup, a potential source of GMOs. Pure cane sugar, an ingredient that has never been genetically modified, has replaced the corn syrup. " So, it may be that cane juice is becoming the sweetener of choice for organic products. - Alan
Guest guest
We just bought a soymilk maker we saw on VegWeb, for about $80. Makes very good soymilk (and other nut milks) to your own recipe at probably a tenth the price, and you know EXACTLY what's in it! ------ > > I just learned from Hains that the newly formulated > original enriched Soy > Dream and Rice Dream Milks will have cane sugar in > them.
