Guest guest
Does anyone have any suggestions for a deodorant that is not poisonous, is cruelty free, and will actually keep me from getting stinky? I've tried Tom's of Maine and JASON and neither one seems to work very well for me. And this is just during normal day to day stuff, not like I'm running a marathon or anything. Thanks. Guest guest
Laura, I use the crystal deodorant. Tai stick I think this one is called. It's a clear stick that is scent free and doesn't contain aluminum. This one comes in a holder, with a clear top. It works very well, even after a long workout at the gym. Hope it does the trick for you. Laura in MD allens717 writes: Does anyone have any suggestions for a deodorant that is not poisonous, is cruelty free, and will actually keep me from getting stinky? Guest guest
Tom's doesn't work for me either. The crystal deodorants seem to work well though. Guest guest
Have you tried Crystal stick? The package doesn't say cruelty free though, so I'm not sure about that. -Lisa progressive7862 <allens717 wrote: Does anyone have any suggestions for a deodorant that is not poisonous, is cruelty free, and will actually keep me from getting stinky? Guest guest
Hi I used to have the same problem with my deodarant stone when I first started using it- but now after using it for over a year I really don't get the stinks at all - I'm not sure if it is the stone or changing to a plant based vegan diet - good luck I can hear you - I am a very sweaty person - so it is hard to find something that won't be toxic and will let you be around others - I also have noticed that my husband had the same issue and after using the deodarant stone consistently for a while- 6mo or more - he doesn't have the stinks anymore either - Good luck Wendi progressive7862 <allens717 wrote: Does anyone have any suggestions for a deodorant that is not poisonous, is cruelty free, and will actually keep me from getting stinky? Guest guest
>Does anyone have any suggestions for a deodorant that is not >poisonous, is cruelty free, and will actually keep me from getting >stinky? YES! I had to respond right away. I'm at work right now but I'll check when I get home and forward the info... Tom's and Jason never worked for me either....I know how expensive and frustrating it could be. Madeline
Guest guest
Addidas now makes what they call an " absorbant deo " , that contains cotton as the wetness control. I don't know if it is cruelty free, and fear that it probably isn't like so many of the mainstream commercial brands (grrr and sigh). It does not contain aluminum whooziwhatzit. Guest guest
Lavalin is a cream deodorant that works really well. That is free of poison and made cruelty free.
Guest guest
I'd like to chime in on this one with my own question. I too have found that Toms and Jason don't work for me. I had been using the crystal roll on with good success for over a year but in the last month or two it seems to be less effective. Has anyone else experienced this? I find that I'm starting the day using the crystal roll on but then switching over to a traditional less earth/animal friendly one when things get stinky (I'm a fitness instructor so things get REALLY stinky!) I'd love any suggestions. Katie http://frugalveggiemama.blogspot.com Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free.
Guest guest
I have used Aubrey's High C (I think that's the name or it's close to it) for years, and it does wonders for me! - " progressive7862 " <allens717 Saturday, October 15, 2005 8:22 AM Deodorant that works? > Does anyone have any suggestions for a deodorant that is not > poisonous, is cruelty free, and will actually keep me from getting > stinky?
