More Veg eating in DC

Huh. For non-restaurant eating and supply restocking, I was going to

suggest a great local chain HFS called My Organic Market

(http://www.myorganicmarket.com/). I could have /sworn/ they had a

location in DC (across from the Uptown theater) but looking at their

website, that does not seem to be the case. The two I go to (Rockville

and Alexandria) aren't near Metro, but if you're in the area, they're

really great grocery stores. And, hey, they have free coffee in the

back (at least in Alexandria).

Anyone know what happened to the DC location or if I'm thinking of

something else?

p.s. And if you are in Alexandria, don't bother with Cash Grocer

unless you're really, really desperate. They never rotate their stock

- I've bought more moldy/spoiled/full of bugs food there than anywhere

else in my life. The doughnut that I bit into before discovering the

thick, furry blue mold covering the bottom was the last straw. Sorry,

independently owned and well-intentioned local shop, but really, you

stink.

No DC location. You are thinking of YES natural food store that's accross

from the Uptown. Not quite the same feel as MOM's Prices are way higher, and

smaller store. MOM's does have another location in College Park though. Our

primary place to shop.

Peace,

Laura in MD

There's a MOM's in College Park, MD. Are you thinking about YES Organics in

DC?
