Guest guest
thanks to all for the helpful mouse ridding tips! I have another household question -- we had a major plumbing backup in which all the waste water within our house came back up through the basement sink and spilled all over the unfinished plywood floor. We've been using environmentally friendly natural cleaning products (lots of white vinegar) thanks to a link I found here - but I'm not sure how to effectively clean and sterilize the floor. Thanks, Alexis Start your day with - Make it your home page! http://www./r/hs
Guest guest
Alexis, Some thoughts: Bleach would be the most obvious. I cup to a gallon of water. The other option is tea tree oil. Those should help to sterilize the floor. Products with enzymes that are used to clean pet accidents would help too. The natural cleaning products should do the trick after that. Hope that helps. Guest guest
Alexis, I use Method products for household cleaning. They are environment freindly and they do have a floor cleaner. The only place I have found them is at Target. Sounds like you had quite the mess. Good luck. Savannah
Guest guest
Personally, I think it diluted bleach would be warrented in this situation. Plywood is so porous that I would really fear the hazardous bacteria from the waste matter over the chlorine bleach. That's me, though. , Alexis Middle <alexismiddle> wrote: > > thanks to all for the helpful mouse ridding tips! > > I have another household question -- we had a major > plumbing backup in which all the waste water within > our house came back up through the basement sink and > spilled all over the unfinished plywood floor.
