Guest guest
Hi, the holidays are here, and I don't eat any meat. Are there any substitutes that are meat like? I don't want to make any lentil loafs, etc. I tried the Tofurky, but I felt it didn't have much flavor, but is in the right direction. Thank you and happpy holidays Renee
Guest guest
Renee, What a coincidence! I just today picked up an " Unturkey " made by Now and Zen. I had purchased some of their other 'meat-like' products at my natural food store and noticed in the packaging that they made this " Unturkey " . It comes with stuffing and gravy, and there are 2 sizes. Haven't tried it, but I liked their other products. I just had the natural food store order it for me. I'll be serving it at Thanksgiving... hope it's good! Guest guest
Sometimes substitutes are so senseless... why don't you go for something completely different? there's so many nice " original vegetarian " recipes out there.... > Hi, the holidays are here, and I don't eat any meat.
