VEGAN: Fragrant Garlic Parsley Pasta

I pretty much do this anyway, so I know I like this one (never thought about

putting some red pepper flakes in it). A recipe for the Faux Parmesan is

next.

Fragrant Garlic Parsley Pasta

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

cooked pasta -- enough for 2 people

8 garlic cloves -- minced (up to 12 cloves)

1 tsp red pepper flakes

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsps flax oil

1 c fresh parsley -- chopped

faux parmesan cheese -- optional

 

While pasta is cooking, in a small saucepan, saute the garlic, pepper

flakes, and salt in oil on medium-low heat until garlic is tender. Set

aside. Drain pasta and toss with flax oil, parsley, and the garlic mixture.

Garnish with Parmesan if desired and serve.
