Guest guest
I have discovered a recipy for an Orange, Honey and Mint Terrine that requires two tablespoons agar-agar. The recipy comes from a vegeterian recipy book and doesn't give any alternative. Can it be substituted with commercial gelatine and, if so, in the same quantity? Will post recipy when succesful. Guest guest
Apple pectin. Works great, and there are even geniune recipes that make a sort of 'terrine' made from the main ingredient 'apple pectine'. the pectine is also quite easily made from apples by the way. See recipe at http://members.nbci.com/mangey/pectin.htm Homepage at http://members.nbci.com/mangey/index.htm > I have discovered a recipy for an Orange, Honey and Mint Terrine that > requires two tablespoons agar-agar. > > The recipy comes from a vegeterian recipy book and doesn't give any > alternative. > > Can it be substituted with commercial gelatine and, if so, in the > same quantity? > > Will post recipy when succesful. > > Frederick > Arlanc > France ____________ Gratis e-mail en meer: http://www.dolfijn.nl/ ilse weet nu ook alles van muziek! http://ilsemusic.ilse.nl/
