Guest guest Posted November 21, 2000 Report Share Posted November 21, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Miniature Fruit Kebabs With Creamy Dipping Sauce Recipe By : Star Tribune 11/2/00 Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Appetizers And Snacks Fruits Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3/4 cup cubed cantaloupe 3/4 cup pineapple chunks 3/4 cup green grapes 3/4 cup whole strawberries 2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice 3/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt or low-fat sour cream 1/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg 1 tablespoon maple syrup 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey Serves 6. Thread alternating pieces of cantaloupe, pineapple, grapes and strawberries on short skewers or toothpicks, then arrange in shallow container. Sprinkle lightly with lime juice to prevent browning. In a blender, combine yogurt, raspberries, nutmeg, maple syrup and brown sugar and puree until smooth. Pour into small container. Serve as sauce.
