Guest guest
Could someone please tell me if it's possible to move recipes from one cookbook to another in MC? There were so many great Chanukah recipes I decided to make a Chanukah cookbook, but I had already imported a few recipes into another cookbook and I'd like to keep them all together. Thanks! Guest guest
Miriam: Unfortunately, there is not a way to " technically " move recipes around, but you can copy them. Here's what I'd do: Open the cookbook you want the recipes to go INTO. Open MasterList -- drag & drop the recipes into the cookbook -- then delete them from the cookbook they came from. Other way is to do a " search " , say for Hanukkah/Chanukah, copy all the recipes in the search window. Paste them into the new cookbook, then delete them from search (not remove, but hit the delete key). I have suggested the " move " feature to Sierra for future editions of MC. Guest guest
In MC 3 you can open both cookbooks and drag recipes from one to the other. I do it all the time. -Susan Miriam Rudnick wrote: > Could someone please tell me if it's possible to move recipes from one > cookbook to another in MC? Guest guest
Karen, I tried your method and it seemed to work, suprisingly enough :-) Couldn't seem to open both cookbooks at once as Susan suggested, and Pat's method sounded way too complicated for a non-techie like me to accomplish. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
