Guest guest
http://www.naturalland.com/cv/des/ndrec.htm Hello Everyone! I am sorry to not have this typed out in MC format, but I am in too much pain to stay at this computer for too long. I just had my last wisdom tooth pulled. FUN! Anyway...while checking my messages I came across this recipe for CHOCOLATE CHICKPEA CAKE. Now this is rather odd for me because I would have never thought about putting chickpea's into a cake. Check it out if you are interested. Danell

If we come across a recipe on a website that we'd like to put into MC, is there a way to just sort of " import " it from the website, or do we still have to manually type everything in? That would be a real nuisance, to have to keep going back and forth from the site to MC to get the recipe in. Or, is there an easier way? Thanks. Guest guest
Miriam, What I do is select all of the web page I need, then save it to Word (since that is what I use to edit); I put it into the generic format, then run through McTagit, then import. May or may not be faster, but to me is a cleaner way, especially if I have a lot of recipes. (I tend to save a lot of recipes as I find them and format all at once at a later date). Guest guest
Miriam: The easiest way to get recipes off websites and such, I think, is to use the Import Assistant. Simply copy the recipe (highlight & " ctrl C " ), then paste the text into the Import Assistant box. You can then move the text over section by section or highlight all of it and choose " autofill " . Try it out and let me know if you have any questions.
