Eventually I will know all these ingredients. If anyone can tell me please, thanks. Persian

Kasha is a grain - " roasted buckwheat groats, which have a toasty, nutty flavor " says the Food Lover's Companion. It is very healthy and has lots of fiber. I've never cooked with it, but frequently have it as a ready-to-eat cereal. Kathleen
Guest guest
Kantleen, Aren't you confusing Kasha with KashI? Kashi is a cereal, whereas Kasha is rice-like, only stickier.. However, both are made from buckwheat groats. Kinda like the difference between wheat and puffed wheat, although that's extreme. My deli next door is very quick to condescendingly explain the difference to us goys. <LOL> On Thu, 04 January 2001, Kathleen wrote: Kasha is a grain - " roasted buckwheat groats, which have a toasty, nutty flavor " says the Food Lover's Companion.
