Lee Evans & Chris Rankin Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 ounces soft tofu -- mashed 3/4 cup prepared espresso coffee 1/2 cup sweet Marsala wine 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon grated orange peel 12 ladyfinger cookies 1 teaspoon bittersweet cocoa powder Serves 8 to 10 In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the espresso and wine. Set aside. In a blender, combine the tofu, mascarpone, sugar, and 2 tablespoona of the espresso-wine mixture. Mix until smooth. Stir in the grated orange rind. One at a time, dip the ladyfingers into the espresso-wine mixture, just enough to be moistened. Place half of the ladyfingers in a sigle layer on the bottom of a medium-sized serving dish. Cover with half of the tofu mixture. Then repeat with another layer of ladyfingers and tofu. Cover the dish with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for up to 8 hours. Sprinkle with a dusting of cocoa powder prior to serving. Description: " Traditionally, this Italian dessert tops the chart in fat content.
