Guest guest Posted January 31, 2001 Report Share Posted January 31, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Tofu S'mores Recipe By :Soy Desserts - Patricia Greenberg Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 whole chocolate graham crackers 12 ounces extra-firm tofu -- sliced into 12 pieces 12 teaspoons sugar or light granulated cane juice 1 cup semisweet soy chocolate chips 1/2 cup soy milk Preheat the broiler or the oven to 500F. Cut the graham crackers in half and put a 1-ounce slice of tofu on top; place on cookie sheet. Top each slice of tofu with 1 teaspoon of sugar. Broil for 3 minutes. While the tofu is broiling, put the chocolate chips in a medium bowl and set aside. In a small saucepan, heat the soy milk over a medium-high flame just until it starts to boil. Remove from the heat and pour direstly over the chocolate chips; whisk quickly until smooth. Immediately, slowly and evenly pour over each tofu slice. Let cool and serve.
