Egg-Free Custard Tart Filling

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 1/2 cups scalded milk -- see note

1/3 cup Ener-G Egg Replacer -- (packed)

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt -- optional

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 teaspoons fruit pectin

 

Scald milk. Stir all dry ingredients together. Slowly add ingredients to hot

milk while mixing. Mix 1 minute. Pour into a pie shell or custard cups.

Refrigerate until firm.
