Guest guest
Hey, Karen et al! I know it's immodest to mention it, but I am featured in today's Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I haven't seen the paper yet - I just read the article online. There's a picture of me in my whites (with a cake) in the print version. Who knows, maybe this will bring in some business! (Doggone - the phone is already ringing!). Thanks, Karen, for this list. I sent the carrot cake recipe and glaze to this list, then x-posted it to veg-ga, where one of the food writers saw it, and the rest, as they say, is history! Maybe I'll get that cookbook done one day. Lisa http://www.accessatlanta.com/partners/ajc/epaper/editions/thursday/food_a3fa87a7 22de41d700ee.html Lisa T. Guest guest
Terrific Article I really enjoyed reading it and now I am jealous of all the people living near your bakery. There is NOTHING like that anywhere around here. The only change I have to make in any of your recipes is to remove the oil and make appropriate substitutes. My husband is a cardiac patient and we try and follow a 10% or less fat diet. Not always easy when you love to bake like I did. But I am learning. Guest guest
Congratulations, Lisa!!! I'm so excited for you. Oh, no, it's not immodest at all to mention it -- we *want* to know about this stuff! LOL! I saw the online version Thursday, and finally got a copy of the actual paper today from Tony to see your photo too. I hope this brings in some extra business for you. Take care! Karen " Lisa T.
