Guest guest Posted March 16, 2001 Report Share Posted March 16, 2001 for the Millenium Mudpie- * Exported from MasterCook * Chocolate-Soy Ganache Recipe By :Soyfoods Cookinf for a Positive Menopause - Bryanna Clark Grogan Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 ounces (1 cup) good quality dairyfree chocolate chips 1/2 cup soy milk 1/3 cup extra-firm silken tofu 1 teaspoon vanilla OR 1 teaspoon liqueur of choice Process chocolate chips in a food processor until finely chopped. Whip soymilk and tofu in a blender until VERY smooth. Heat the mixture in the top of a double boiler until almost to the boiling point. Pour into the feed tube of the processor, and process until smooth. Scrape the mixture into a mixing bowl, and refrigerate just until it is completely cooled, but not chilled. Whip in vanilla or liqueur, and allow to chill for several hours, or until firm enough to use as a frosting. To soften, leve at room temperature until it is as soft as you like it.
