Guest guest Posted May 10, 2001 Report Share Posted May 10, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Tofu and Chickpea Garlic Dip Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup canned chickpeas -- rinsed and drained 8 ounces soft silken tofu -- drained 2 tablespoons tahini 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill 1/4 cup chopped green onions 1/4 cup chopped green olives 1/4 cup chopped red bell peppers 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper Serves 6 to 8. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tofu, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic; puree. Stir in dill, green onins, olives, red peppers, and pepper. Chill. Serve with vegetables, crackers, or bread.
