Guest guest
I'd like to thank child of the 80's for inviting me to this wonderful vegetarian/vegan group. I'd like to know; 1) what are members' favorite vegetarian foods? 2) do you members drink soy milk? what brand? or do you use a machine, or make it yourself? 3) anyone eat a raw (living food) diet? do you like it? I'll let you know what my answers are too. My best, big ken

I've tried them, I think there yucky >3) anyone eat a raw (living food) diet? do you like it? > > no. It sounds too extreme. Also there are certain foods that cannot be properly used by the body without breaking them down with heat. >I'll let you know what my answers are too. > >My best, >big ken welcome to the group! :-) Susan ------ Please visit my website: http://members.cox.net/sbcogan Also, check out an excerpt of " Jubilee, " which will be published April 17. http://members.cox.net/sbcogan/writing.html
Guest guest
Welcome to the group Ken. I think my favourite veggie food if probably either a chunky vegetable balti or fajitas with lots of peppers and spices. I had hoummous on homemade wholemeal bread for lunch today which was pretty good. Unfortunately i really love cheese, which is pretty bad when you're trying to lose weight and adapt more of a vegan lifestyle. But i'm trying none the less. I do drink soya milk. I used to think it was a bit iffy, but drank some anyway for my health. I've now found that fresh is sooo much better than longlife/UHT and i love so good! soya milk. Rice dream is pretty nice on cereal too. Haven't tried a raw food diet but i have heard a few people mentioning it recently. I'm not sure if it was here or in another group i belong to called the feral vegetarian. Might be worth checking that one out too. Its a very good group run by one of the members here, PT (or Feral troll). Thanks for joining the group, i hope you find it useful, Laura _______________ Stay in touch with MSN Messenger http://messenger.msn.co.uk
