QOTW: Best Holiday Meal?

Okay everyone, now that we are a week into the New Year and (almost)

everyone will have finished celebrating (well, by the time they read

this at least ;=)), here's my Question of the Week:

What was the *best* meal you had over the holidays and why?

If I were to answer, it would probably go like this: My best meal was

the one we made for the 25th (bragging, I know ;=)) - a root vegetable

casserole a la provencale and a 'sicilian style' salad served with home

made walnut bread. It turned out just great!!!

Best,

Pat

That's a tricky one, but it would probably have to be my 23rd birthday on

the 28th when we had the Christmas leftovers, lots of crackers and cheese,

and a chocolate log birthday cake. Grazing nibbling goodness!

That's great - and having made it all yourself you'd know not only what

was in everything but also be sure it tasted the way *you* like it *lol*

Can you tell us about the nut loaf?

Best,

Pat
