I'll get there by summer. Best of luck with going vegan - what an adventure it is! ;=) As for the pound lost, that's great! If you find yourself losing much more than that in a week it just bounces back anyway, so slowly is much more rewarding! Good for you!!! I lost some and gained some back, but I am one and a half pounds lighter than was two weeks ago today, so that is something. My mistake was not eating properly (there was some stuff going on, and I skipped a couple of meals - bad bad bad!), so of course my bod kicked up a fuss. So there you are, losing nicely, and here I am trying to hold the fort! Let's see how we are doing next week!!! Guest guest
All right Jinnie! I wish you the best of success in your endeavor! I've been a vegetarian for about a year now with a few " fish " set backs, but about a month ago I stopped drinking milk and started trying out different soy milks; mostly to go with my cereal. I still eat quite a bit of cheese and am trying really hard to just have it once or twice a week. It's difficult when my boyfriend cooks because in addition to onions and garlic (yum) in everything, he also adds either cheese or cream sauce. Right now I'm mainly focusing on cooking a variety of foods and finding out what really satisfies me. I'm hoping to get pregnant sometime early this year and I have fears that I will crave meat; so the more I know what satisfies me, the easier it will be to stop those cravings. This will be my first, so I'm just speculating; I may not have any of those nasty cravings afterall!
